What makes you keep coming back
What made you stop coming (if applicable) Would you recommend RockWich 2025 to friends??
Attended all of them from day 1... To support local festival... Recommend as friendly... Great bands.. Venue.. Value for money...
The first one. When it was at the sports club, saw it advertised as a bike show so came over on my bike in the afternoon. Was so good I went home and got John to bring me back later on. Done all of them since, plus a couple of the Lostock extras.
Oh missed a bit. What makes me keep coming back? The awesome organisers, who get the bands that will be huge in future in a tiny venue. Do I recommend it? Hell yeah, to everyone!
Recommended by the rock family. Can’t remember my first I think it was the one with A Jokers Rage and Attica Rage but don’t know what year… would it be 2016? Come back for the friends and the cracking line up every year and to support such a great festival and the up and coming bands. Thought about not coming this year as it’s 2.5hrs drive from Stonedead and I really wanted to do that but I just got on with it and I’m glad I did. I never seem to land right on the merch area, and miss the bands I want to buy stuff off (defo not beer related!) and I miss bands as I have to get food at the caravan due to allergens but overall it’s great with lovely bar staff, lovely event team, really personal touches and excellent band booking. And nice toilets!!
We've done the last 3. Always do Stonedead then RockWich on the Sunday. So friendly and value for money. Always a great line up of bands that keeps us wanting to come back.
2017 was my first one reason I attended was to get Linda back into gigs and it was a cracking line up recommended by good friends. Keep coming back as it’s the most stress free event we attend. Set price no bullshit print at home costs or booking fee and free camping. It feels like a wee secret event that only a few are in the know, Most laid back friendly not anxiety inducing event of the year and our hosts are the loveliest people you will meet in the rock music world oh and they put up with me so should get a medal.
1 first ever Northwich festival
2 Attica Rage
3 Fell wholeheartedly in love with your ethos ( and Colly )
4 Mick & Colly now have my soul in a tiny box for every August Bank Holiday in perpetuity
DONE xxx
I did two at the previous venue and done em all at the present one, What first made me attend I’m presuming this is probably the most answer given mates said it’s a cracking little festival why don’t you come so did never looked back and why do I keep coming back cos it’s fabulous I love everything about it the friends I’ve made whilst attending this festival which have turned into a sort of festival family meeting up at other festivals , the organisers (well you’ve got to suck up to Colesia and Mik ) are the friendliest of people and theyve built a great team around them I may not know all there names but you can see efficiency amongst the chaos of band change overs not an easy thing on a single stage festival, and of course the present venue I just love the staff they are so great I remember when first there and people (me) were getting rounds of shots in and getting third round in and girl serving says to me your mad you lot aren’t you I says yep and she then says and I’m loving it , they are all fantastic and a laugh then comes the jackbit especially breakfast once you’ve had a good brekki your set for day and food during the evening to keep you going
Will I recommend it well yea course and I’ve told people who are thinking of taking their little ones to their first festival that this is the perfect one , but just wondering what will happen if/when it gets to popular and big for the venue will it lose its vibe but then I think I go to bigger festivals and because there’s a lot of the same friends there it’s ok so if it happens then as long as you take venue staff with you then I’ll survive
I've done the last 4 (+ 2025 already booked)!!! Great value for money & fantastic mix of rock genres. You might not like every band going, but you will like enough to make this the best value for money festival going!!!
My first was 2015. Came coz I knew some of the bands. Ive only missed one. Keep coming back coz it's just an awesome festival, great organisers, great bands, great friends, great atmosphere and I recommend this festival to EVERYONE.
A very special festival to me and will always have that special place in my heart
2nd one I think it was back at Lostock. Was dragged along kicking and screaming by Maria Shovelton-Jones. Great friendly atmosphere and don't stop smiling/laughing from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Would and have done
